A taste experience
We love Österlen. There was only one thing we missed from Stockholm - Nonna's Gelato. Now it's here! Of course there is good ice cream here locally to enjoy as well, but once you've tasted Nonna's Pistacchio Sale, i.e. salty (yes!) pistachio gelato, then you're hooked.
What gelato?
Gelato is made from milk, unlike our traditional Swedish ice cream. This makes the fat content lower, at the same time the gelato contains much less whipped air, which makes the gelato more compact but also creamier.

What is meant by artisanal gelato?
There are many ice cream manufacturers, even slightly more luxurious ones, who start their production from a base that they buy in externally and then flavor. It will be good, but a lot of it tastes the same. We make our gelato completely from scratch from the finest ingredients, without preservatives or colorings. You can see some of it in the price, but even more in the taste!
